Hey, everybody. Happy Friday. Coming to you live from Orlando, Florida. Just got down here a couple hours ago. I am headed down to Miami for the tail end of Ultra to meet a bunch of friends. I’ve done it a couple times before and it’s always such a fun time. What I wanted to share today, is that I’m able to do this because I’ve built a business based on flexibility and freedom.
Think about that. I did not decide to come down here until, I don’t know, a day or two ago. I booked flights. I booked a hotel. I coordinated with my friends that were coming, and I’m now going down and making it happen for 60 hours (less than three days) to create memories for a life time with friends that I love and enjoy spending time with. I’ve been able to do that because I’ve created a business. I’ve built a real estate practice and other things that are sustainable. While I’m away sometimes on a whim like this they can continue to operate with a great team in place at home that is often times location independent and that’s been built from the ground up on the foundation of flexibility and freedom. Again, those are the themes, right?
Who doesn’t want to be able to on a whim just go travel and do something like that. Go listen to great music that they love and have a passion with people they love and care about. But we can’t always do that so what I’m trying to help you guys understand is the benefit and the tools to actually get there. So you can actually have a business that is underpinned by these principles of flexibility and freedom. So behind me is this beautiful Lamborghini Huracan that is my good friend Jason’s car. I’m going to give him full credit. Look at this beauty. Beautiful car. Super fast, and he asked me as he flew into Miami from Denver, “Hey anyway you could pick up the car and bring it down?” And I said, “You know what, of course.” Get on the phone, change the flight, flew into Orlando this morning.
I’m driving it for three and a half hours down the Florida turnpike and going to be in by the evening to meet up with them. Not too bad. I’m pretty pumped because I love fast cars, and this being a spider drop top, the pinnacle of Italian performance, is going to be a lot of fun. So again, going down, we’re going to have a great weekend, guys. The theme of this week is build flexibility and freedom into your business, into your career and you’ll see it show up in your life. That doesn’t always happen over a week or a month or even a year, but there’s things that we can do and I’m happy to share those insights, those tips, and those things that I’ve learned and done in my businesses to do just that.
